This is what God said in the verse of 2.Sam 12:10-12, Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house because thou hast despised me, and hast taking the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife ( 11 ) Thus said the Lord, behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thy own house, and I will take thy wives before thy eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor. The Lord allowing David to feel what Uriah felt by taking his wife from him. God gave David wives to another. Although David sowed some good seeds this seed was a bad seed. David reaped what he had sown and the bad seed were just coming back around again. We as followers of Christ should wanna sow good seeds, not bad ones because they are coming around again, we are to do good in the kingdom for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
On top of David’s adultery with Bathsheba he tried to cover it up by lying before the eyes of God, God sees everything and nothing will go unpunished, a liar will not tarry in His sight Ps. 101:7. We can clearly see that God word went forth in 2. Sam 16:20- 23, concerning God given David wives to a neighbor. Absalom seeks counseling from Ahithophel on what he think he should do. The Lord fixing to manifest His power through Ahithophel by given David wives over. Ahithophel said to Absalom in verse (21) And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all lsrael shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hand of all that are with thee be strong.
“The wisdom of God still manifesting through Ahithophel” verse ( 22 ) So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house, and Absalom went into his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel. ( 23 ) And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counseled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of a God ( this man had the wisdom of God he was being used by Him, God gave Ahithophel revelation, a vision to see the outcome of what God already spoke about concerning given David wives over to another, but given them to his son! Don’t say what God can’t do please don’t! The last part of this verse says, So was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom. Hallelujah glory to God, so God gave David and Absalom counseling through Ahithophel Jesus!
“The church and Jesus Christ as the holy symbol of God” Jesus Christ was the type and shadow of David God had already given David concubine wives over to his neighbor. Who was David neighbor that the Lord was talking about? Remember! Absalom was the son of David and in a spiritual sense Jesus is David son too spiritually speaking, nothing is characterized by the flesh of carnal thinking here concerning Jesus. God is using Jesus as a figurative Absalom to expression spiritual truths. Absalom wanted to be king, but Jesus is the true King that God had in mind. How did Jesus became king? God did it through Absalom Jesus was already king that is the reason why Ahithophel said what he said to Absalom in verse ( 21 ) of 2. Sam, Jesus was to be the coming King who would sit on king David throne and reign as sovereign King forever because Jesus throne had no ending hallelujah glory to God.
Who was David’s neighbor I didn’t quite get it? His neighbor was Jesus Christ whom God had given his concubines to, because again Jesus was a type of Absalom to move forward in the spirit, in a godly way. God have given us to Jesus we were the 10 concubines that are in 2. Sam 20, And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and feed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in window hood.
We were the ten because Jesus took our window hood and married us into His body from the house of David into the New Testament which is the reading of Matt. 25:1, Then shall the kingdom of heaven be liked unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. We were prepared to meet the coming King Jesus who brought us into His household out the household of David because he wasn’t suppose to touch us ever again. God did all of this just because David couldn’t keep his hands off another man’s wife. So now we belong to Jesus now! Hallelujah glory to God…
Make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life today, if you haven’t already peace and blessings to you amen❤️
